24k connector plating does help the connector last longer, as gold doesn't corrode, but it's nothing to brag about. Pretty much any halfway decent connector is going to have it as it costs almost nothing. It's like bragging about having chromed plastic on your car. Sure it looks cool, but it's just chromed plastic, it's available on a base trim level Civic. |
