not nearly the biggest problem... there isnt a current way to build a cable long enough that wont destroy itself with its own weight. Carbon nanotubes have been showing some promise, but we cant make them thin and long enough yet

For those of us who think ourselves "intenet savvy", probably not too much ... but then I bet we'd all be suprised (if not startled) to learn how much Google Analytics can string togther about us...and link-in any other (previously thought anonymous) identities we hold online.Think : If your Home Page is Google, then Google know to which page you go next....every time....even anonymizers can't escape statistics.For those of us that are less than "internet savvy", that revelation will probably prove to be quite a scary one.And to think, people so concerned about CCTV's "intrusion" into personal lives.....if only they knew how increasingly "bagged and tagged" (by someone) we all really are...almost with every click..
I can tell when a woman wears Evian skin cream. And L'Air du Temps perfume, but not today.!

Given its significance, that DeLorean seems to be in a pretty low-security area and not kept up very well.?
I think Apple is a very closed-minded company, but that doesn't prevent me from appreciating their dedication to producing the finest hardware and software products.Windows and Linux trolls simply don't get it.Microsoft pretty much takes half their ideas from Mac and have done this for over two decades.As for the Linux desktop, that's just a lesson in ugliness, LACK OF INNOVATION, and LACK OF POLISH when you actually sit down and take the time to compare it to the refinement in Mac OS X. The Linux community (especially Canonical, Gnome, KDE, ...) really needs to learn how to make much more POLISHED user interfaces of PROFESSIONAL quality because what we have now simply doesn't cut it. |
