“To clarify, Bungie had said Halo 3 was the last in the story arc focusing on the Master Chief, NOT that it would be the last Halo game, NOT that it would be the last game with the Master Chief in it, just that it was the last in the 3 part story arc of the series. Reach is going to be a prequel, and will undoubtedly focus on other Spartans and Marines, as there were many before Reach (it's a planet) was glassed (burned basically) by the Covenant way back before we found Halo.... which makes me wonder why there's the word Halo in the name still? They should have come up with a new concept for the title to differentiate from the original series... obviously name recognition is a huge factor but it would have been interesting if it were named something else...So Bungie isn't breaking any promises or going back on anything they said, and yes, I am huge fan, but not a boy anymore so don't call me a fanboy ok? thx

Darwin's theories -- and I only include this for those who "get" science -- are about Adaptation -- MERELY through natural selection.If you take a group of people, throw them in ice water, and let everyone die until there are only two --- their offspring MIGHT be better at surviving cold water. Darwin isn't recommending it, and it takes a LOT of people and generations to get those who are cold-water adapted.It doesn't get you Einstein, however. Nor does it make life better, or a better society. Darwin did not touch upon how societies and nature and all that create symbiotic relationships. Notice that the Lion is not in an arms race with the water buffalo. In NATURE -- survival of the fittest is only ONE PART of the whole picture. The Lion does not have an ejectable jaw and poison-tipped claws and the Water Buffalo has not developed armor. Because in some ways -- they need each other. And sometimes, the lion does NOT kill the Water Buffalo, even though he could when at a watering hole. Over time -- the lion probably moderated it's behavior because ALWAYS killing the weaker animal meant that it eventually starves.Apparently, common sense was weaned out of the NeoCons, the Christian Fascists, and our soft bellied weaknesses, have made us not thin out our heard from idiots who believe in Eugenics.
