I remember hearing of classmates in 7th and 8th grade who had already had sex.I would much rather have my child's "innocence" ruined than their whole life ruined by HIV or pregnancy at that early age due to lack of proper sex education.Beyond that, it's just another religious "debate", with one side providing clear and cogent arguments, and the other side screaming nonsensical rhetoric. As for the parents who say they should be the ones to teach their children.. well you have roughly 5 years between 10 and 15 to teach them before the schools will do it for you!
If it's weekly and it could probably be decent.

I do not believe these prosecutors should have immunity, but there is no way I am holding up Sharia and Old Testament legal codes as examples of how things should be done. You can have rational, contemporary discussions about modifying the judicial system and legal codes without resorting to books that can be twisted to say just about anything anyone wants them to say. I'm not saying there is no value in history, just that when you start talking about religious law it tends to bring out the crazies and the craziness in people.?
So I hadn't heard of this Valuev fella; googled him. Ended up finding this crazy *****:http://www.stargods.org/TheyLiveAmongUs.html

Digg me down for what I am about to say. I may even deserve it, since no one likes a whiner. What happened to you Digg? You used to be cool. Now every time I come into an article about politics or the economy, it's a constant drone of RABBLE RABBLE WALL STREET HAS MY MONEY GIVE ME MY JOB BACK. Why can't we have a discussion of economic policy which isn't full of vitriol and gut reactions. Of course it seems inherently suspicious to spend your way out of a recession. We all have the same gut reaction. Why can't we talk about things like the precedent for doing what Obama (and Bush) did? Or how there were a lot of economists around the time they were implementing the stimulus saying that it may not be enough? Valid counter points may be that we have reached a point where we Need to suffer through a recession and any delaying will simply make it worse. Can we raise the bar digg? Just a little?

I'm not troubled by the presence of a robust military. I am troubled by the sheer size of it and the fact that we can subsidize defense contractors but we cannot protect non-military industries which are of strategic *economic* importance. Supporting peaceful industries would be socialist.
