I once challenged the clerk at Gamestop when he tried to sell me a "new" game that he had just taken out of an envelope in a drawer in front of me and "sealed" in the case with round plastic stickers on the edges. I told him if I'm buying a new game, I wanted it the way it comes from the factory. He said "Oh, you're one of THOSE people." I don't go there anymore.

We have a shortage of resources with today's population. WTF do we need more people for.
Anyone willing to participate in a drive by shooting should at least be charged with attempted murder, or hopefully executed. There's no stronger combination of stupidity and cowardice.

“Actually, you get that whenever you go from one OS to a completely different OS. Moving from XP to Windows 7 is not an upgrade. There is no upgrade path for it. Vista to Windows 7 is a painless upgrade as I can attest to. Moving from XP to Apple involves much more than simply loosing your data. It invloves losing access to most of the application you knew and loved when using XP. Most vendors still don't support the Apple OS and 99% of video game vendors still don't. Since games is one of the major uses people have for computers that is a huge deal. If all you do is browse the web and email then you would be better off with Linux since it is free and you don't have to buy a new computer to use it. If you do a lot more with your computer then jumping to OSX is not an option.

I stopped 3 lanes of interstate traffic zig-zaggin as a rolling traffic block after a motorcyclist dumped his bike at 70 MPH....Traffic stopped 30 or so feet from where the person stopped rolling.
I thought the same thing too. I paid my $20 to get in, then looked a pictures of the monument today compared to 10-15 years ago. I was not impressed.!

I used to live near the college in Eugene, OR. I couldn't even park in front of my own home. If the driveway was full (room mates) and I got stuck parking on the street, I'd have to set my alarm for early in the morning, get dressed, move my car, and then go back to sleep until I had to move my car again. I hated those parking nazi *****.?

FTA: "The protection granted by the amendment only relates to measures taken by States, not private parties," it says. "Hence, restrictions imposed by operators at the request of right-holders do not fall under the scope of this provision." OK, not *totally* useless, but this significantly reduces its usefulness.
