This is retarded. Want to guess why poorer countries are polluting and buying up cars and electronics and using lots of energy? Because they want to be like America. No, I don't mean that everyone loves America-- but they see the ***** we have and they want it. Go just about anywhere in the world and find McDonald's, Starbucks, etc. Most of the countries like India and China pollute way less per capita than us (China's pollution level is very near ours but they have nearly 4x as many citizens as us). We've had plenty of time as polluters, whereas developing countries haven't-- if anyone should go first, it should be us. We are America any way after all... shouldn't we set a good example? Meh.
