You lied to me friend.
This must just be crushing for jobless people looking to see this number to go down so they can hope a new job is coming soon. It is weird because living here in the DC/VA/MD area, the job situation is different. Recruiters call me 3 times a week. So many people are getting new jobs every day. Professionals that is. I think non-exempt people are suffering badly. I know 2 people that were laid off in the last year and both were employed again in full-time, similar jobs within 3 months.

No, its actually quiet serious..
Yes, someone still dies, and it is tragic, but the motivations are not the same. If someone just began opening fire on the streets of Compton, killing indiscriminately, it would be on the national news. Someone getting killed in a drug dispute, someone in the crossfire, it's terrible, and I don't mean to sound cold, but it's not an out of the ordinary event. Someone opening fire in the workplace, someone shooting soldiers on a military base, these are rare events and are national stories.!

Do you realize that the article says that the Chinese government BANNED this practice? Not invented it. They SOLVED a problem, they didn't create it. This is Government in China telling Business what to do. One thing I find amazing is the American ability to read something and two seconds later explain how it means the exact opposite of what was intended. The government of China stopping business from abusing its clients is now evidence that the Chinese government is responsible for beatings and gulags.?
Didn't they already do this during the opening scene of Office Space? |

The global warming we hear about every day is caused about 30% by humans and 70% by natural warming cycle. The earth is still coming out of the last period of glaciation and is still getting warmer. But no matter how bad we treat this planet, it was done way worse to itself in the past. This does not mean we can be irresponsible and not care about what we do. We should be conserving everything we can. Who know's maybe humans will stop the next global catastrophe and prevent everything form dying out. That would usher in a new age of advanced evolution! How exciting!!! |
