I have never liked FPS single-player games, but I was in awe at Bioshock from the first day I played it to even now. I had to train myself to overcome motion sickness in order to play the game, but it was a no-brainer thing to do. I have heavy doubts that the sequel will be as good, but at the least it should be fairly entertaining.
Plus now Alicia Witt is all grown up and doesn't go around creeping people out in her baby burka.

There was an article floating around the internet a while ago (can't find it right now, sorry) that shows what happens with new artists and the contracts they sign. Basically, they are given a pittance for royalties on album sales, and everything to do with renting the recording studio to manufacturing the product, to marketing people having meetings were taken out of these royalties. And if their first album didn't sell enough to cover all that (out of their royalties, not out of net sales), then they would be pressured into doing a second album, and the "losses" from the first album would be leveraged against the royalties of the second one, in addition to the costs of the second one..
If the U.S. had 1.3 billion people, that smog would be 4 times worse. You can say what you want about China and pollution, but U.S. pollutes about the same as China, only China has 4 times the amount of people. The real polluters are you westerners.!

As a minor spoiler-iffic question: are all the major quests as long as Redcliffe's/Arl Eamon's? It just keeps going and going and going, and then you think you've done it, and it branches again.Unbelieveable mission depth.
