Make no mistake, Pakistan is winning this. They are regaining and holding lots of territory. They need to keep up the momentum. It will take them a year or two, but they will clear out these militants. The key to holding the territory is to capture any fundamentalist whackos in every village .. usually the local villagers know who the toruble makers are. After all they do nothing but upset the local population, especially the women. The Pakistani army is following the same approach Sri Lanka used against the far more lethal and suicidal LTTE terrorists. These offensives take time .. it took the Sri Lankan army a few years to wipe of the LTTE.
