I find myself feeling sorry for the guy's son as I read this article. I am, from both sides of my family's reckoning, both "white" and "Mexican". Culturally, I was raised as latino, but look white to anybody on the street. Because neither side of my family could come to terms with their expectations of race, I found myself a stranger to both worlds, and not very welcome in either. What neither side understood was that culture is what you are raised with, and the society you live with, and not what you look like. My best friend's family were a bunch of Apache bikers and race car drivers, and included me in their family when my own didn't want or understand me. I took on their values because they accepted me unconditionally, and didn't put any limitations on me when I had to leave or needed space. It is not like I would ever expect to be "Apache" (wtf is that, they would say, and I'd agree, but then there is the title of this article we are commenting on...), but I was closer to them than anyone else, and if they had been in touch with their language and more into res culture, I would have picked that up as well.Nations that want to survive in the long term need to come to an understanding that it doesn't matter how much blood anyone has, it is how much they live in the ways, behavior and language of the people who accept them. That, and the people need to accept new members again, like most of the nations used to before the treaties. If folks don't find acceptance where they are, they will find it where it is offered instead, or at least go where they are not penalized as much for who their parents / lovers / kids are (which is why a lot of folks leave the res- I mean, aside from the rampant poverty, etc, that many nations still face).

Ummm dont trust your photos to a social network. Even developers can't keep the good stuff locked up..
The problem seems to be that your parents are *****, not the system. At least your parents have the option to help you. If the system was the way some people in this thread want it, no one from low income families would be in college, and to me that's way more ***** up than the current system will ever be.!

The problem here is the "product" couldn't be confiscated. It would also have been inappropriate if the informant in a cocaine purchase also snorted all the cocaine. Sure, the informant can have a wire, and the police still have evidence, but this particular case the informant couldn't wear a wire. In other words, these cops didn't think their plan through at all. They had no clear evidence, only an informant's squirrelly story that he was offended by solicitation for sex, yet happily turned horny informant 4 times for a mere 180 bucks. Send those cops back to the academy.?
hmm nothing like losing Green jobs to the worst polluters on earth.not sure whether to laugh or cry.

When it comes to wine, true sommeliers don't care and the average joe cares only about the most basics of a taste-nose-price balance. It's only the wannabe wine nuts that would get up in arms over things like this. We pranked a wine-nut friend with drugstore wine once. The bottle was $10.99 and he loved it. Backpedaled like a political pundit when we showed him the receipt.

 I guess I should of said that the link that I was trying to download was this one at the lower right hand corner:"Full 1080p direct download link is available from Vimeo in the lower-right-hand corner of this page, if you are logged in to Vimeo."I thought that it might be a better quality video than the flash file in my /tmp directory (which I did save, and even thought it looks very nice there were still a few pixelated parts)But I still appreciate the help, some people don't know how to save flash movies, and giving people help is a cool thing to do in my opinion. With Linux, I can usually just grab the flash video from my /tmp file, and if it's not showing in there, then there are other ways to use a firefox add-on or to use a certain terminal command in Linux.I just read that part about it being in 1080p and thought to myself that it might look really nice on my multi-threaded mplayer.
