I see it a lot on digg, and other blogs/social sites.
Can we be done with these "photobombs"?

“Labeling others is a fun past-time. Labeling yourself is a refection of stupidity. This was an article that discussed an interesting notion that infants in the womb are not only capable of hearing (sensing) the world outside their mom's belly, but have functional brains. Get off the abortion debate.

Oh UK, you're making the USA look sane on drug policy. And Brother, that is one hell of a statement..
Almost none of those were surprising.Asphalt? Really? Unless you lost your sense of smell in some sort of horrible childhood accident, how can you NOT know that asphalt contains oil?!

If you go to Crazy Horse just be aware that its not part of the national park system and you have to pay something like $20 to park. That really puts a dent in the wallet when the daily food/whiskey budget is $5. I was a little disappointed when I got there but I feel a little better knowing my donation gets them closer to finishing.?
To answer your question on Old vs New ethanol...as of right now it's all basically still "old ethanol" meaning it's made mostly from Corn. The new form he's referring to is called Cellulostic ethanol. Meaning that instead of using a starch and sugar-heavy fuel like corn to produce ethanol, they'll break down cellulose instead. It's slightly less efficient in terms of how much ethanol can be produced per pound of product, but it's generally more efficient in terms of how much energy it takes to grow the cellulose, and it comes from sources outside of our food infrastructure like wood chips or switchgrass. The problem is it doesn't work yet. Not on an industrial scale anyway. And corn ethanol still won't go anywhere because that process is already widely adopted and the corn is subsidized by the government. Removing that subsidy would bankrupt thousands of farmers overnight. So it's possible that some of the "new ethanol" is already working its way into the supply chain, but you'll never notice it because after it's processed it's identical to the old stuff and they all just get mixed together. Depending on where you live you'll see an "E-10" label on one of the handles at the gas pump, which means the fuel contains 10% ethanol by volume. It's usually a little cheaper and it's actually better for most cars than pure gasoline of an identical octane rating. |

I laugh at you close minded morons who work for the entertainment industry who only think this is about people downloading ignore the fact that this could and will destroy most user driven content sites like youtube, facebook so on. It also about peoples rights. Its one thing to have a dmca takedown notice which is fine in my book but leaving it up to a individual rights holder to file a complaint is *****. Its stuff like this that makes people hate you and makes them not want to support you.

Jman, I bet it depends on the area in DC. At the Garden Inn Hilton on 14th, I got hit up every night standing out in front having a smoke, or walking down to the mall to do the tourist thing. In Georgetown, I bet you don't get as much of that. As I thought about the list of cities I made above, it actually occurred to me that the one world city where I've never been hit up by a bum was London. I've seen one bum there, shoeless - as we crossed Westminster Bridge. But he didn't ask anyone for a thing. The ones in Barcelona were Dutch heroin addicts, and they were the most hostile and aggressive bums I've ever encountered. The point is, in the suburbs of Maryland, or Ohio, or Pennsylvania, you don't get this at ALL, to any degree.
