Obama and the Democrats will do their best to put the dollar into cardiac arrest by printing money like mad to fund their unsustainable programs. Along with the coming economic armageddon when the bulk of the baby boomers retire and send Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security through the roof, the dollar is going to look almost like play money. However, I hope there is enough buffer so that the US people will learn from this and swing back to more fiscally conservative policies of decreased government spending and taxation. If there isn't enough buffer, this is the start of the end of the USA as the country we know now because it will tear itself apart under the economic stress.

Democrat is the best we got unfortunately. Obama in reality acts as a moderate, I don't really see why Republicans are so afraid of him. America doesn't really have a liberal party. Libertarian is sort of socially liberal, but they're more conservitive than the Republicans when it comes to money. Republican is the conservative party, Democrat is the moderate party, and Green is rated as liberal but PETA people make me skeptical. Way to not see the big picture Novenator. Republicans winning gubernatorial races in states that Obama had solidly won is a clear sign that people are pissed with the Democratic agenda. Gibbs can claim it's about local issues all he wants, but that's simply not the whole truth. Democrats, that includes Obama, Senators, Congressman, etc, were elected in large part to a massive backlash against Bush policy. The DNC could have put a retarded dog in a clown suit up for election, and it would have stood a good chance of winning the 2008 election.People wanted the political climate to change. They wanted parties to work together again to create laws and policy that's good for all Americans. What we got is an even more polarized administration.?
